I have not had enough time to come on here since I have been editing a story for my other book. I had them all saved on a text edit file and that needed some cleaning up - and gave me a chance to sort out some literals etc. - so nearly finished all that with one part to go and some more pictures.

And we are back to doing all the things which structure my week. Walking in a group on Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon, and every other Thursday. It is always surprising how many people turn out even when the weather is likely to be heavy rain. Most people have wet weather kit - and as long as you are well protected and have waterproof shoes or boots it is very enjoyable. Not just for the exercise, but also the social aspects of chatting to people while you are walking. It is one way of keeping fit physically but also mentally - and I am taking every opportunity of doing that.

I retired from teaching early, and it has been the best thing I could have done - and luckily have enough money to enjoy life - I feel sorry for those people who will be forced to work until they are 67 or 68 when their faculties may not be as good as they should be. I guess we may be the last generation to have it so good - and I am making the most of it - while helping the family out when required.

Writing here helps me to keep in touch with people, as it did on OD, and also explore some of the things on my mind. Of course, it seems at times that the main thing on my mind is sex - and I am glad to say thinking about it continues to have the right effect on other areas of my body. Just when I thought the spirit was willing but the flesh weak it seems it is making a comeback - and so I am able to take things into my own hands!

However, I am also painting - and as the weather starts to improve, and it gets lighter in the evenings that will become more important. So - time to get on with the stories!
