reclaim the movies you loved
before they got tangled up
in memories of bitter exes

reclaim the songs that sang your soul
but you had to cast aside because
you heard them at a job you hated

reclaim your days
reclaim your name
shakedown the past
for all you’ve fought
the bad tile, they’re
just bathwater, baby
but you yourself are
all that you’ve always got
whether you like it or not
