Not enough hours in the day. I seem backlogged on subjects I want to write about. Still haven't got my notes written from the sermon I was interested in. Naturally, several studies that week coincided with the same subject matter. The subject is Personal Idols. Here is the link if you are like me and find yourself listening to sermons during the wee hours or in spare time. http://www.sermonaudio.com/sermoninfo.asp?m=t&s=81705102352
Returned home last night from a retreat/mission's training weekend. I went in with no expectations, as always that works for the best. Found some deeply rooted questions about my life in Christ answered or otherwise built upon. Look forward to writing about this, but not tonight it's just too late.
Attended classes for preparation to further my ministry, one just for fun and took a few hours outdoors to play in the snow and just be a big, old kid. Made time to talk one-on-one with two women, that helped me open doors to new relationships make steps toward changes I desire.
Feeling tightness in my chest and a cough, the kind that comes with bronchitis. Hopefully I can ward it off with home remedies. Happen to be seeing my doctor for other matters tomorrow so can have her check me real quick.
Early morning shopping trip planned for the Farmer's Market. Finally going to replace some of the freezer meats I lost during the six day power outage over Christmas. The early morning things isn't exciting me at the moment, just cause tomorrow is looking to become a long day.
Talked with my son today. He is on Spring Break next week and is coming for me. I will stay with him for a few days. Look forward to the mother-son time, help getting my taxes done, shopping for a special something for his girlfriend's birthday, and planning to see "The Lego Movie". I can't wait! When I told him Batman is in Lego Movie he said we wouldn't miss going. It's been years since we've been to a movie together. I'm pretty excited about the time with him in general.
My girlfriend since seventh grade and I talked a while last night, again, about living arrangements. We have pretty much decided we are going to move in together, share living expenses and do our best "Golden Girls" for the time being. We are both at the same place in life concerning our activities, children, men and lifestyle and think it would be nice to just be able to relax a bit and not be on edge about the next dollar every month. Of course, things can change but this is looking pretty finalized.
Took Mom to the doctor last week. Her burns are starting to heal. Blue was transferred back to a rehabilitation hospital yesterday and has been improving for the past week. My niece found out today she is having a baby boy and is very happy, I guess a boy was hoped for.
