Long weekend ahead in At the foot of the hill

It’s hard to believe that we are coming up on Memorial Day weekend! Especially since we are still having freezing temperatures and snow! We had been planning to spend at least a day or so at Mike and Jeri’s new condo in the mountains. They bought it last fall. Due to Bob’s heart condition and subsequent surgery, we still have not seen it. They have worked hard to make it their own, even buying furniture that would make it easier for Bob and me to be there and enjoy it. If any of us were skiers, it would be great this week. Some of the nearby runs have announced that they will be open until mid-June. Mike says they got a foot of new stuff so far this week, and will probably have more in the next couple of days. That doesn’t sound like fun for any of the four of us. So we decided to call it off! Maybe in another couple of weeks?
I still haven’t planted any flowers, and that’s a good thing. Didn’t have to worry about them freezing. There was a day (One Day) last week that was perfect and I was able to sit out on the deck and have my coffee. My favorite thing to do.
I have not been feeling well. Don’t know what that’s all about. Just stiff and light-headed. I expect I need to drink more water....
