Dear Friend,

Just to record the thing that has happened between us.

You told me that you had decided to no longer be a listener due to 1/ receiving a violation notice without an explanation and 2/ you had spent so much time on activity already. I asked you to just let me have our chatroom space to write you, just one message per day, and I got that. That was exactly what I wanted for all these months anyway. I’m really happy you have moved on, because I really don’t need you anymore, but I still want to reminiscence all that time that I felt so cared for and supported.

It makes me cry all the time how much you were making yourself available to me. Had you not been able to have time for me, that would have been ABSOLUTELY FAIR, and ABSOLUTELY NORMAL. But when you made time for me, it was UNFAIR for you, but it really helped a lot. It’s just a mind-boggling example of human altruism that I could only admire and not explain. Literally, you gave a part of your life to me. It’s a gift that I just don’t deserve, but I got it, and now I only have to go out and make the best of this gift that I have received.

(Not only were you available, you were wonderful, as well)

Oh the beautiful thing that is human altruism that I cannot explain. I’m too unworthy to be able to comprehend it. I definitely love you, the way one would love someone who saved his entire life in one moment and then disappeared. … Yeah, if we sacrifice our life to someone else, it doesn’t really make much sense (not to my small mind anyway), but it is just so beautiful.

Anyway, yeah, thank you for all the time that we had. I will take your words that you have enjoyed our chats greatly too.

Love,
Your fangirl.

Cook's Note
To remove woody ends, grab stalk of asparagus at either end and bend until it snaps. It will naturally snap where it starts to get tough.
