So this is fucking weird in Adventures in paradise

I have a new housemate! He's out in our loungeroom asleep on the couch.

I haven't met this new housemate yet, but that's apparently totally FINE as Ayden and the new housemate got along like a house on fire.

I was told the new housemate was coming over at 11am on Sunday morning so we could all meet him. But NOOOO. They met him whilst I was at work Saturday night, didn't they??

I get home from work and I'm getting text messages from my landlord, asking me to go and meet him at Sporties, as I just have to see this drag show that's playing. Or, more specifically, Luke, who is the 18 year old twink IN the drag show that my landlord suddenly has some obsession with out of the blue even though that guy's been around for ages and Ayden has already fucked him in the past anyway.

ANYWAY, I do actually change and head to Sporties, despite me hating the place with a passion, and the minute I get there, I (surprise surprise), hate it. I do one lap of the place, don't see my landlord anywhere, think "Fuck this shit" and walk straight out the door and home again. I wouldn't have been in there more than 45 seconds to a minute, enough to have a glance for whom I was looking for, realise I was WAY too early for the drag show anyway, and hightail out of there. Plus I had just done a 10 hour shift and the last thing I wanted was to be oogled by men even double MY age.

I got home, made a facebook status, and my landlord commented he was 'in the loo'. I really didn't care. I got a few more messages from him telling me it was my last chance to see the show, but by then my care-factor was well below zero. Luke isn't even all that, and comes across to me as a little pretentious queen anyway (I could be wrong, but I'm usually not), so I left my landlord to his latest boytoy and pretty much went to sleep.

I wake up in the morning to my phone ringing. I answer it (thinking it'd be work as we were SCREWED last night since the load arrived so late) and it was Vish asking if I wanted to come to the Sunshine Coast with him and his boyfriend. I said that I would, and they'd be t mine in 20 minutes to pick me up. Luckily I'm not one of these gays that needs 3 hours to get ready, but 20 minutes for Vish generally means an hour anyway.

I read messages on my phone from my landlord saying that this new housemate is moving in at 5pm today, and that he and Ayden got along really well! THAT was why he wanted me to come to Sporties. ALWAYS an ulterior motive with BOTH of those guys. He wanted me there so he could explain to me that they'd already met the new housemate WITHOUT ME and had decided he was great for the house and was moving in. Because he's a Pisces apparently. Yup. My landlord with his fucking starsigns again. And you know, because the biggest drama queen twink housemate likes him who my landlord is obsessed with likes him, then that is a miracle in itself and the person who has lived here for 6 years doesn't even get a say or get to meet said new housemate, who, mind you, is sleeping in our lounge/kitchen area until my landlord finally decides to go overseas once all his security checks are done, apparently.

I'm not happy about this. I want to yell at botb Ayden and my landlord, and right now as I type this, it's the middle of the night and I want to just go upstairs and wake them, but I won't because I'm not an arsehole like Ayden has been. I don't meven think Aiden has had a say in this either. Remember him? The other housemate? Not that he talks to anyone anyway and basically seems to be a waste of space in this house. Yeah, I'm not happy with him either. There's only so long you can be nice to someone and have them continue to ignore your existance in your own home.

But my landlord has already told me, "Oh, you'll love him Matt." (Referring to the new housemate). He's already made the decision for me.

I leave for Sydney tomorrow night, but I still have one more night of work to get through I think. I've yet to check up on that, but I'm pretty sure I only applied for holidays from the actual day I leave.

This new housemate better be fucking brilliant because right now this household is more disfunctional than the Kardashians. I assume Ayden will calm down when my landlord leaves.

I ended up walking in the door home from a lovely day at the Sunshine Coast, looking like shit and tired as all hell, avoiding everyone in the kitchen without being seen.
Guess I'll have to meet him eventually. But it's the principle, you know? I was meant to meet him and agree I liked him. Not forced into this fucking unfair situation. 5 people living in this townhouse now. That'll be fun!
