It would appear that my former employers were ready for a backlash when they fired me. My friend Hetal called me crying, they sat down with her and told her what they told everybody. “We understand that you were attached to Tom and if you are not happy with our decision we will gladly accept your notice.” Everybody’s shifts were replaced by staff from the store that Karamjeet worked at before it burned to the ground. Everybody that was close to me was scheduled outside their availabilities and told to resign if they can’t meet the operational needs of the store. They are playing dirty. I will admit that I am a little flustered but that store is not really my problem. I talked Hetal down though. I do hope that HR can intervene and have Karam removed somehow. She is evil incarnate. I asked Hetal if my Food Handlers Certificate was still in the office for me to collect and she said that Karamjeet threw it out in front of everybody. Made a production out of it. Bitch.
My nerves are mostly shot though because I am going out for drinks and dance with the boys tonight and my social anxiety can never cope. I’ll go out and have some fun of course. Just always have these butterflies to work through.
