Wolf Creek 2 was scary in Adventures in paradise

I went and saw Wolf Creek 2 tonight with my landlord. I suggested it, as it came out today, so we booked tickets online and walked over there. It's been SO humid here the last 5 days or so. Our air-conditioner hasn't been switched off once all week. I guess it is still the end of Summer here, but phew hot hot hot. So a walk did us good.
I'll say this much about Wolf Creek 2. It's not bad for a sequel. John Jarrett does an awesome job (yet again) as Mick Taylor, and I actually don't know of any other Aussie horror movie haha. I tried to convince Ayden to come with us, but he doesn't like horror movies. I don't like horror movies either!
There were a couple of gruesome scenes, and I reckon anyone who was American in that cinema would've hated it haha. Basically, without giving too much away, the killer was driving a semi-trailer and hitting kangaroos that were bouncing across the highway. Not just hitting them, but all the gory stuff too haha. It's everyday life here though. I remember driving along the Millmerran-Goondoowindi road and there'd be dead kangaroos everywhere on the highway from all the roadtrains that hit them during the night.
In fact, the movie gave a pretty damn good indication of how racist a lot of Australia is. Basically all of the victims in it are purely targets because they aren't Aussie. I didn't like the ending though, but hey, I enjoyed it. It's still the best Aussie horror film I've seen. It was cool to see that guy from Packed To The Rafters as one of the main characters too.
We walked back home. I was pretty much covered in sweat when I got home, it's just that muggy outside. Walking into my air-conditioned bedroom was amazing :)
Three more shifts of work until I'm on holidays! :)
