It has been a while in New Diary

I finished reading The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. This marks the third book I've read this year. They include Angels and Demons by Dan Brown and Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William L. Shirer. I think I am going to read another book about World War II : D Day : The Battle for Normandy by Antony Beevor.

Girlfriend and I made it to Wal Mart yesterday. We took the 8:15 bus . Bus was full of people who work at a sheltered work shop. Then there was this couple sitting behind us who talked endlessly and used the F word frequently. But I enjoyed the ride. When we got to WM we went to this restaurant Subway and had a pretzel. Then we did our shopping. I didn't get very much, just a case of pop and a box of donuts. We finished our shopping in time for the next bus back home.

I sort of got sick on the way home. I wasn't feeling very good yesterday afternoon. Just about every thing I eat causes that god awful bloated feeling. I tried to rest but couldn't sleep I read my book Angles and DEmons Girlfriend came up and we played cards for a while. Then we went to er place and we had tuna salad sandwiches for supper. We watched the local news at 5 and then she went home for bed. I stayed up and finished reading my book.

I am up and ready to face a new day. We have to go out again today only this time to the hospital. Girlfriend is scheduled for some testing. We have to be at the hospital late in the day. We plan on taking the bus home.
