visit results in Second 1st

Quick entry to go over the doctor’s visit. I told him I brought a letter and he seemed happy that I came prepared. He sat there listening. He also has an assistant who did all his typing! So seriously he was just intently listening. Then he apologized for me having such a tough time and said said we will get me back to work soon :). However, soon is relative because he is going to put me out for another 2 months. He is ordering me some therapy which I will have to go to Nashville for, along with a balance test to make sure the nerve is dead and not trying to screw me over in recovery as well as a CT scan to check one more thing.... I like this a TON better than “go back to work the 15th see you the 25th”...... There is no fluid in my ear and I was probably pointlessly popping my ear. I do have permanent loss from the shot. He said after the balance test we can talk about options. may go with a CROS system. Can’t remember what the letters stand for but basically all the sound from my right ear will be fed into my left ear so I’ll hear things on both side. My left is normal so for now I”m just going to be grateful for that.

All the riding had me messed up so I had a quick 20 min nap when I got home. Messaged back the folks that had messaged me for meets this morning and have a meet in about 45 mins. Rocky got a drop notification for trucks at the pallet place so he wanted to rush out there. I let him go alone fearing I’ll miss this meet. He said he’d stay but I’m okay.

He just texted me saying Kerri is coming over to hang out. He’s picking her up on his way back :(. not expected. I’m not ready for her. Was kind of hopeful they wouldn’t come out today. smh I really wish Rocky would see them the way I do, just once.
