Survey in Book Six: Trying to Hold On 2019

So… a little outreach can be helpful. JUst doing a survey to fill some time while I wait for a phone call:

How old will you be in five years? I will be 40 days away from my 40th birthday

How tall are you? 5‘7

What are you looking forward to most over the next six weeks? Being done with this jury trial, being done with March, getting Mortal Kombat 11, and my birthday

What was the last movie you saw? Alita: Battle Angel

Are your parents together? Yes indeed. For the last 43 years as a married couple.

What color are your eyes? Brown

If you could go anywhere you want, where would it be? Japan and Ireland

Do you tan or burn? I try to avoid the sun, lol

What did you fear most at night as a child? Purposelessness

How many pillows do you sleep with? 2

How many states/provinces have you lived in? I’ve lived in Iowa and Nebraska

Do you prefer socks, shoes or bare feet? I’m twisted. I prefer bare feet in a BIG way but I absolutely despise getting my feet dirty or dusty

Favorite dessert? Chocolatey Alcoholic Beverages

Favorite soup? Lobster Bisque.... is bisque a soup?!

Do you like coffee? Bizarrely no. As a Norwegian Lutheran and Attorney such things are sacrilege but.... no, I’m not much for coffee.

What do you drink in the morning? Water, Soda, Orange Juice

Do you like to cuddle? Yes and I won’t apologize for it!

Have you been to Canada? Yes, many times. Tragically, the family friend we’d so often visit is likely passing away soon and there won’t be any more trips up to our North Country Friends

Do you know anyone with the same birthday as you? I knew a set of twins once when I was in High School… and allegedly, I share a birthday with Machiavelli, Bing Crosby, Frankie Vallie, Rob Brydon, Christina Hendricks, and Pom Klementieff.

Do you want kids? I do. But I’m not sure I’ll ever have any.

Have you ever ridden in an ambulance? Not to my knowledge

Do you prefer ocean or a pool? Pool for swimming, Ocean for boating

What do you dip a Chicken nugget in? Honey or BBQ Sauce or Ketchup or Hot Sauce

Have you ever run out of money? Interesting wording… run out of money as in, not had enough to cover a bill at a diner or run out of money as in ‘been broke and unable to make ends meet.’ Because to one of those, I can say yes.

What is your usual bedtime? I would likely prefer if I could get to sleep around 9 or 10 but my body is all jacked up and refuses to cooperate

Do you read the newspaper? Rarely, I scan the local paper to see if there is any Local Backlash to some case or plea deal

What was the last note you scribbled on a piece of paper? “Move these questions to this witness”

When was the last time you attended a church? It’s been a bit long, sadly. Maybe even as long ago as Christmas which is.... almost unheard of for me.

What is the longest you have ever camped out in a tent? Probably 10 days. My dad was super proud that we were boy scouts
