Our Visitors in 2014

…..Have taken up much of my time as you would imagine. But I figured a quick update before I started getting ready for work wouldn't hurt anything.

So we never lost power. Yay! Though the news said over 200,000 people did so I felt super fortunate. My family got here safely just after the snow stopped falling so we got about a day and a half to play in it.

My husband royally failed for Valentine's Day. Granted we did not have much money to spend, and we typically do not make that big of a deal out of it to begin with, but he made zero effort at all this year. Not even a homemade card. I kept a good face about it, but it really bothered me.

My family has been ok. For the most part all we have really done is gone shopping for necessities and mindless wandering around stores. Its what my grandma likes to do. I am hoping that this weekend we venture out for more exciting adventures. But there has been some serous moments of irritation that I vowed to overcome yesterday, and I think I did a pretty good job today. Hoping that carries over into today since I have work and church tonight. Over all though I am very happy that they are here and I love seeing my kids playing with their Uncle and cuddling with their grandma.

I had other things I wanted to vent about, but nothing really seems that important right now. Or has escaped my mind completely. I hope everybody is having a great week!
