Forward in Just as advertised

The past five years have been eventful

I lost my dad and then my mom got sick
My sister and I no longer communicate

It all started with my mom’s dementia
And things just ran amuck from there

I’m in therapy weekly
That is how I’m handling the disconnect

I’m also connecting with people my age

That has been awesome
I’m laughing so much more
