if you won't grant us patrons
at least grant us some Patron
stiff drinks to soften the nights
composing alone
if you will not grant us fame

because the famous always fall
then we're all the same to you
and if you won't give up your secrets
at least grant us one sweet lie
some monomyth to dream on
that makes us wanna try
