3rd week in February 1990 with Gma, and today with me in Grandma and me

Gma Thur 2-15-1990

21 Got up to 34. Freezing rain and sleet until noon. Chuck did feeding cows. He and Butch ate dinner with us, then they moved the 2 calves home to this lot.

Gma Frid 2-16-1990

19 only had 25 for a high. Chuck fed cows hay. Kathy called. Grundy ELectric fixed our outside light.

Gma Sat 2-17-1990

6 above to start. Just made it above freezing. Kathy come about 230. We went to the grocery store and then ate at Hardee’s. Home for Hee Haw.

Gma Sun 2-18-1990

33 A beautiful day. A lot of the snow and ice melted. Gary, Teri and Charles come down afternoon. Kathy left about 5. Louise called.

Gma Mon 2-19-1990

21 and a high of 36. Chuck came down to feed but we had part of it done. That was about all we did. I called Jean.

Gma Tue Mon 2-20-1990

16 high of 38. We went back to timber with Chuck. He cut a little wood. We had an appointment to get our income tax done. Not too bad.

Gma Wed 2-21-1990

27 high 50. Pop and Chuck went to the Depot for dinner. It was put on thorough Prairie Vu.

Me Tue 2-18-2014

I just noticed on Gma’s entry for the 18th it was sunny and alot of the snow melted. 24 years later its also sunny and it melted the snow. I had to smile about getting home in time for Hee Haw. Gma and Gpa both loved that show.

A little better day here for me. It was helped by the nice weather. I worked from home today and the cats kept me company. At one point I heard loud snoring and looked over to see Boy and Snoopy cuddled together sleeping soundly.

Good Things I did for me

Worked out with Angie. We did battle ropes and weighted step ups

I ran 4.5 miles and one of the miles I ran at a pace of 12 minutes!

I was a little over on my calorie range but I was under the rest of the week
