I'm sitting in front of my open window enjoying what is a cool and refreshing breeze. (it's 45 degrees outside!!!) Tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer. I'm stoked. I work at the bank all day but maybe I'll have time to go shooting or do something else outside.

I know it's not spring. It's far from it. We probably have another two solid months of below 32 degree temperatures, and a couple of blizzards between now and FLIP FLOPS. But a girl can dream, right?
Hubs and I had a few good days. I spent last Thursday in Watertown with my fam. I visited Amber and Lincoln. Played with Lore. Had lunch with dad and Eric. No jokes about the Drama Queen because we didn't want to get in trouble with Eric. Love that I get to walk on eggshells around my brother because if I offend his delicate (read: dramatic) girlfriend I will get lectured.

I tried to meet up with Lisa, Queen Flake. I had a plan to visit her between 1PM and her hair appointment at 2PM. I was going to meet new baby Mycah, who was born January 13. When I called QF, she was like, "Oh, we're just leaving to go to Starbucks. Do you want to meet us there? (NBD but Starbucks is completely across town - about a 15 minute drive from where I was) I headed to Starbucks and waited for her. She came, Mycah was fast asleep (once again NBD I don't like babies anyway) but we hung out there for like 5 minutes while we waited for her coffee. I suggested I could meet up with her after her hair appointment, so she said she would let me know when she was done.

Almost 3 hours later she texted me to say she was done. By this time it was 5PM - her husband was probably getting home from work, her oldest daughter was home from school, it was supper time, ect. I just totally blew her off. I just couldn't handle going to her freaking house - which smells bad - like cat pee - and deal with Her, Husband, 7 Year Old, 2 1/2 year old, newborn baby, and several badly behaved dogs (who are loud and untrained) all at supper time.

I had spent the whole day with Amber, fussy baby, and toddler. Before that it was driving through -what else- a blizzard warning (for blowing snow) on my way to Watertown. I'm not a terribly patient person to begin with (patience is something I am learning - slowly - but it is a struggle). I just felt drained from all the noise and action. And I don't really have an abundance of patience for a) kids and b)badly behaved animals to begin with, so I would have been DOA anyway.

She blew me off last time I was in town, too. Last time she "had to go out for breakfast" then make a quick trip to the store and several other things instead of visit with me. Ooookaaay.

I think I'm done. I really only try so many times before I'm just done. If I make seeing you a priority, and if seeing you involves a bit of effort on my part - which it does for my Watertown friends, you try too.
I've also been designated to figure out what is wrong with my mom's car - which is my favorite past time. Not. Not sure why I got picked for this - I live 75 miles away. Ugh.

That's all for now. <3 Sarah
