So I just heard of something I’d never heard of before.
Screen Team.

Now, I don’t want to say anything for or against any of the members of Screen Team or what they do. In fact, quite the opposite. Here are the two items on their About section:

Angie & Chad are a real life couple who create nerdy online music videos and more!
Angie Griffin and Chad Nikolaus, known as Screen Team, are a couple who met online. They create vlogs and spoofs, musical parodies on their You Tube channel.

So… these are two people who met online who share in a love of nerdy things (highlighting video games, comic books, cartoons, etcetera) and they cosplay and go to conventions and do so much of what I wish was in my life..... and these people met online.... and Angie?
Here are some of her pics:

SO

not only is a girl like this real as in existing in the real world… but she has nerdy interests (like all of my interests are shared) and does Cosplay of both quality and sexy varieties and spends her time making videos of her nerdy interests and met her boyfriend online?!?!?

AND SHE IS 36 YEARS OLD?!?!?!?!?!?!

I was born and raised and grew up and stayed in the wrong place.

These kinds of women don’t exist in Iowa. It is too cold for too long for these kinds of women to exist in Iowa. I met an attractive short girl under 130 lbs that liked Star Trek, Star Wars, Halo, Dune, Neil Gaiman, Pub Trivia, and who enjoyed sewing and costume making and makeup arts who was also a 2nd Degree Black Belt. I genuinely thought, “This is as good as it gets. Yeah, our interests aren’t 100% aligned but they’re damned close!” Now that girl is a gray haired woman over 150 pounds that doesn’t like anything (except horror movies, Z Nation, Dr. Pimple Popper, and Magnus Archives) and doesn’t do much of anything with her life or any of her old hobbies and refuses to play video games or engage in any of (now entirely MY) interests.

ALL THE WHILE PEOPLE LIKE ANGIE GRIFFIN EXISTED. Not sure how to take that news.
