Diamond Painting selling highlights in Second 1st

So with the day of trying to be lazy and the early leave out this morning there are the obvious house chores that need to be caught up. I haven’t worked on MTurk in 2 days so there is that… … but more than much else I have been thinking a lot on a post I saw in my FB feed.

It was a post asking about how to charge for a diamond painting. If you didn’t know I would LOVE to do these for other people and sell them. So I saved the post. I’m going to now drop highlights. I’m going to sleep on it and work with wording sometime tomorrow I hope.

How do y’all get the orders? I’d love to make some for someone who can’t. That’s great.
Just friends and people that are interested in them but don’t have the patience to do them. Im looking at go to a craft sale to see how I do

No framing,
washi taped 4 sides on black cardboard,
cost of custom,
plus 40 x 50 = $150, $10 for extra 10 cm. Eg, 40 x 60 $160

For a 16x20, I charge $125.00 and that includes the frame. For an 18x24, it’s $150.00.

Since I like doing dp so much, I have them go order online and pay for it. It’s a hobby for me and saves me money.

I do price of kit + price of frame + my time and how I figure my time out is I do amount of drills multiplied by .001
So a 40x50 would be between 58$ to 65$

I mount them on foam core board with a push in hangers. I usually sell them for double cost of the kit They are called metal foam core board sawtooth hangers on Amazon. It is $14.95 for 100 of them

I frame all mine in Black Poster frames, they are roughly $20, add to your price and buyer can change if they want..

So there is that..... I’ll have to look this over in the morning and really start thinking about what I want to charge how I want to frame it and get some sort of post up.

It’s morning and I am not dedicating another entry to this except to post a trial ad for opinions. So I’m editing this one with what I’m thinking about. … The chick who said foam board and the little metal hangers. I think I’d like to “frame” them that way. Inexpensive and simple. Or not frame them at all..... I guess I would have that as an option. I think I would like to do a by the drill type charge because that way the size won’t be a thing. Being as we have ft and inches and are behind the rest of the world with their metric system conversion is not common sense. However, I’m not sure .001 per drill is fair to ME. that’s 100 drills for a penny.....

The LAX custom cost me like 19 bucks.... plus .001 for each drill at 38,160 drills would be 57.16.... I guess that’s about what I would charge for it.....

The wolves I did that Joseph bought for Keri .... I got for 38, and has 57,480 drills.... 95.... okay… maybe....

honestly that’s the only way I can wrap my head around.... because the others I don’t know how they came up with the numbers.
