Sowing Faded Memories in Poetry

I’m trying to understand
The memories that fade
As I reincarnate
To the choice I made
Why am I here today?
There must be more to life
Then all this pain
Devouring me from the inside

The past, present, and future
Become a blur
And as I pick up
A grain of sand
My mind merges
With the memory
Held in my hand
Forcing me to see
What I thought I banned

The leaders of authority
Are the puppets
Dancing on strings
Pretending to be
What society wants you to see
They preach their design
To seed your mind
And you wonder why
The plants never grow
As they tell their lies

The infinite finite creation
Reflects you and me
In this dream
Until you realize
That death creates
And life sedates
Your mind will be a prison
To false gods
That pretend to sow your stitches
