The neighbor has major drama suddenly. in Second 1st

Some time over this last week or so when it was not important at all to me...... well that first night when Rocky was gone so late into the night. .... Eddie (the neighbor) told Rocky that he thought his girlfriend of 13 years was cheating on him with him best friend. Apparently, there had been a camping trip planned and a planned time for leaving that was an hour and a half before he would get out of work. Ashley (his girl) could not wait the hour and a half for him. When she returned from the trip she started packing her things. Over the last couple of days she’s been moving everything out of the house. She has convinced mutual friends that he’s some mean guy. He knew nothing about this until it happened. She had been planning in since Christmas.

She had convinced him to buy her a $500 amp for Christmas.... knowing she was going to leave him. Now, I’m not one to make too much judgement here but this guy.... the neighbor.... I’ve never seen him be mean to her. He spends most of his day in his man shed (the garage with the door open) and strikes me as the hippy type (though I’ve never seen him tokin’). I can’t imagine him being aggressive let alone out right mean. I know that there are 2 sides to every story and I wish her well BUT

She’s moving into a one bedroom apartment. She took the shower heads and curtains from BOTH bathrooms. She brought 8 people over to take stuff in hopes he would fight about things so that he would look like the bad guy so he just let her take it all. They have a place as big as ours (4br/2bth) and he doesn’t even have enough furniture now for a 1br apartment. She took everything. Again I don’t know the reasoning but I feel like she is seriously disrespecting what they had by taking all that. It wasn’t in agreement and much was petty. I mean really petty..... They have 4 cats, one is fairly new and Eddie has jokingly said ït’s my cat”. She told him that she would come by on Tuesday to get her 3 cats and took the bowls and cat pans already!..... So where are the cat’s to eat from? poop in?.... she doesn’t care.... anything to make Eddies life harder.

So for the last 3 nights right after Rocky’s come home he’s gone right to the neighbors house. She has been there the last 2 nights and i guess gotten all she can manage to get. Tonight Rocky is over there helping move what is left that’s “hers” to locations she can pick up whenever. “You have a box on the front porch” “The grill is next to, not in, the garage” and so on. They only had keys for one door the whole time they have lived there (out of 3 doors) so Rocky bought (after asking me) a new lock that they changed the first night. She wasn’t happy when she came back the second.

There are a few states that still have common law marriages .... and TN is not one of them. There are only like 8 or so … I read it but forgot and don’t care enough to look it up again. He was scared she’d get a lawyer and make it a big in court deal. After Rocky told him common law is not a thing in TN he fought for a few things. (The washer, the china) Rocky hung out trying to help keep peace. Now he’s hanging out trying to help Eddie get on. I’m cool with it. I’m not much company right now anyways.

He made some amazing steaks the other night and had sent one home for me. I sent Rocky a text saying Eddie should always cook our steaks. lol. So tonight they called me over to the fence where Eddie offered me leftovers and a salad. Was very good. I stood in the cold for a bit listening to him talk about the situation. He’s just in shock seriously. Feel kinda bad for him.

When I left Randy he knew it was coming. .... update on how I feel in next entry.
