Snow and more snow and STILL more snow! in In the Kingdom of Suzu

Initially we got about 12 inches and then overnight we got another couple of inches AND they are calling for a few more inches Saturday afternoon! The first snow, altho a lot, was fluffy and not too bad to shovel, don't know about this overnight snow as it mixed w/rain/sleet and i haven't been out yet to shovel. The big problem is where to go with it all!

I left work yesterday at noon. The courthouse did not close and our big boss would not close our office, but the supervisors said that we could leave, using our own time of course. Big boss was at home in her pjs and having hot cocoa. The supervisors had called her on speaker phone and there was quite the heated discussion. I think we would all be more understanding of having to stay open if the big boss would come in, but she never does. Even in good weather, she is only there about half the time, and yet she keeps getting re-elected! Anyway, i had caught a ride in to work and the driver was coming back at 12 to pick us up. Quite a few people left at 10:30 or 11, but we just stayed. Today, the courthouse is on a 2 hour delay. Found out about it on FB and then saw it on the news. We had a "telephone tree" but no one called me about it. Possibly because i was scheduled off for today, not sure.

We are supposed to go to Philadelphia Saturday to a museum that has mosaics. Another couple invited us to go, so i don't know much about it for now. Not sure if we will still go if we are getting more snow. Will probably find out today.
