ChiroYes in Everything Else

In all honesty I do not know why I have never gone to the chiropractor before. Why did I think they were dangerous? Because I went today and I feel amazing. I go again tomorrow and I pretty much can’t wait for the next 24 hours to pass! But that could also be because tomorrow is Friday and I have one of those glorious three-day weekends coming up! Yay!

I feel like things are going to start going right for me. I don’t know why I feel that way, but I do.

I don’t understand why Starbucks does not get more salt. Every time I go to get a salted caramel mocha, they always say they are out of salt. Buy some fucking salt already! But they have new pastries and oh my god are they good and bad (for your health I am sure). Seriously tasty though.

I am not sure when or where I mentioned reading old writings of mine, but it seriously has sparked me to write more. Not just for personal rantings/tracking, but creative as well. I really want to pick up some of those pieces and finish them or refine them. I could not stop thinking about one last night and how often the theme seems to come back to me. I have to remember that I don’t have to right a great novel or even a novel. It does not have to be perfect. It just has to be put on paper. Nobody has to read it. Nobody will probably ever read it, but me. And that is OKAY. I just have to do it. To make that effort, to say I wrote this!

Yesterday was an oddly good day at work in the sense that the bitch was decent to me. There was a brief moment where it was like the olden days. Brief, but it was there. Today is probably going to be a different story, but nobody is going to bring me down! Nobody.

Waiting sucks. I hate waiting to get checks back. I need to get some of those in the mail yesterday! Maybe this afternoon I can try to trap the boss and see if I can get them.

People who come up with this ¯_(ツ)_/¯ have way too much time on their hands. Seriously when do they think up this stuff? At work? Sure most everyone does stuff on the internet at work. That is unless you work for TP (a local corporation). At TP you cannot even send an email out of the corporation without IT releasing it and that is AFTER you give a detailed explanation on the recipient and proof that it is business related. You cannot do anything in that company without IT authorizing it. I worked in IT for two weeks and went home crying every single day. I could not handle it. All the job tickets. Ugh. It is a classic example of two things: Too much control and not trusting your employees. Plus their software sucked balls.

I abuse the hell out of our internet services. I watch Hulu, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, all of it. Nobody has ever said a word. I get my job done. I am probably more efficient with Hulu than I ever was without it. They even gave me dual screens. Yeah, they don’t care. It’s not like I am paying and watching porn on the company dime. And if I were, well I am not sure they would care.

Now when I worked at the state…you got a little red hand that said STOP! This is an unauthorized website. Used to scare the shit out of me until a co-worker told me after you get ten your supervisor just tells you to stop and then at the beginning of the month the counter is reset. He used to keep a tally sheet so he knew when he was getting close. I was amazed at some of the sites I could still get to. Now I am sure 99% of what I would want to access would be blocked. “Government, the original cock blockers.”

One of my guys gave me an invoice for a “tube shaped bag of sand”. Is “tube shaped” an important detail? Speaking of the guy, he is incessant about making us move our cars every day so that “Sol can do his work.” Sol, by the way is the Sun and by do his work, melt the snow. In the middle of February. We are the only place in the city that will have dry pavement. Note that I fell on ice on our sidewalk yesterday, but goddamnit, the parking lot will be pristinely dry because people only drive on it. Oh and don’t overhand the sidewalk because it makes NOT shoveling the sidewalk difficult. This is why so many of our directors drink regularly.

I saw on MSN that Plushenko withdrew from the Olympics and immediately retired. I hope he is still alive. I am not 100% sure how Russia handles athletes who don’t meet their expectations, but this is a country that would not let a hockey player leave to play in the NHL, he had to Jason Bourne it out of Russia. So…

I have a project for tonight…filing! Ugh. I hate filing. I want to throw every piece of paper away but then I also want to keep every single piece of paper. Time to put my new system into effect I think.

If you have never seen CinemaSins Everything Wrong With…on YouTube, you are missing out and you should go there right now (well after you finish reading this) and watch them. I watch these over and over because they are so hilarious and I honestly think they are the best thing on the internet. If there is anything else like this, let me know because I need something new. I want to be happy and this and inappropriate humor makes me happy.

For the last several days I have seen a brown dong looking “toy” in my yard. For the life of me I could not figure out what the hell it was and I was reluctant to touch it, since my dogs seem to be reluctant to touch it as well. With a little snow meltage, it was revealed to be a Reindeer squeaky toy. Seriously looked like a big brown dong with balls. I pointed it out to my mother who laughed and told me I was terrible. That is a contradiction right there.

My email is more populated than I would like, but I have done very little work this week so it is not surprising. I didn’t know I could do this little work in the middle of the month and a full week. The only work I did today? Going to the garage for two 2012 invoices and answering one phone call. Hmm…the new year rush is over. I am sure next week the hounds will be on me to finish January, but it is hard to do when you are missing utilities. I should probably get the bank recs done though. That would be a good thing. Eh…there is next week. Is it weird I am happy that the BOD meeting is on a Friday this month? How awesome is that? I will be completely left to my own devices for a couple of hours on a Friday afternoon. Nobody will bother me and it will be awesome! Plus I get to have lunch alone! So freaking sweet, I can’t wait. Two weeks!!!!

Well that is what I have. I have some thoughts on ideas running through my brain, so maybe another entry tomorrow, because I highly doubt I will get around to it tonight.
