Holly Daze in Thirty-Four

Good evening everyone, how are we all doing? I’m just relaxing here on this Sunday evening. Freezing my ass off because it’s been in the mid 50s during the day and mid 20s at night. I know, it’s colder in other places but yeah Arizona.

Anyway, so it’s been weeks since I wrote, which seems to be the norm as of late. When shit is going good, I don’t have much to write about I guess. I’m definitely ok with that and I’m sure you all are as well.

So lets see, I wrote before my birthday. We ended up getting a later start than anticipated when we went to Tombstone, so by the time we got there there was really nothing open lol oops. We missed the last Gunfight by like 20 minutes.

We DID however do something that I Have been wanting to do for a while. We got one of those old timey western photos done. Let me see if I uploaded it to imgur real quick…

Yay! anywho so that was cool. came home and hung out. My dad had called me earlier that day to say that he and my aunt were coming to town the following day, just for a quick trip. it was her birthday so she decided she wanted to come over here to the casino. haha, alrighty.

we had lunch with them and then played $20 on the machine and got nothing. So we headed out to do some stuff. Don’t remember what, but we did stuff haha.

Randy worked Thursday and Friday and had Saturday off. We went to two different car shows that weekend. He actually got 1st place in his category at the show on Sunday which was neat. He needed that little ego boost. He felt pretty good after that. We went to the in-laws that evening because it was FILs birthday.

Monday was uneventful. My dad ended up coming into town Tuesday instead of wednesday because his dr appointment got rescheduled. So that was cool beans. Made some spaghetti and meat balls. Wednesday I had a dr appointment and then we ended up running a few errands to get some of the stuff we needed for the holiday the following week. Got some baking supplies and whatnot.

We decided at that point that we were going to be making sliders for Christmas day at our house. We planned to go to Christina’s house on Christmas Eve. Since Randy was going to be working and they were planning on doing dinner and stuff really early, we figured we’d go over there and Randy would go to work and then we would leave and spend the evening relaxing at home.

Randy ended up getting CE off, so that was good. We came home early evening. Randy forgot to take his meds when we left in the AM and he went downhill fast. Gabapentin is one of those meds that you CANNOT miss a dose on. Blah we came home and watched the Broncos and Raiders though and he felt better throughout the evening.

Tuesday we went to Breakfast with MIL and BIL at IHOP that’s THEIR tradition so obvi my dad and I go. Was a good breakfast and then we came back over here and just pretty much hung out all day. got stuff situated and I was a little irritated by the fact that Randy played AC all day but I think I was just tired. It really didn’t bother me. He made the sliders and we all ate and opened gifts. I got some awesome pics too so I was happy with that. Next year we will figure out somewhere else to put the tree so it’ll be easier lol. It was good though.

I was going to post pics, but this entry is already pretty long. Blargh. Anyway lets see, Wednesday we didn’t do much of anything I don’t think…Thursday Randy went to work and my dad and I ventured into town so I could get some stuff to do my nails. We got a $100 gift card from my step-mother-in-law’s ex husband (yeah one of these days I will explain the whole family dynamic over there lol). Anyway, so I used my half of it for nail stuff and ejuice.

Did my nails that evening and am so happy with them. woo! I hadn’t been happy the last two times I had them done at a salon, so I finally decided to restock my stuff and do them my damn self haha.

Friday we didn’t do anything either I don’t believe. I’ve been trying to rely on my Facebook timeline to remind me but yeah that’s not really working either. Anyway, I will try to be more vigilant in the new year about writing more often so I don’t forget shit! Have a good one my friends!
