Tuesday in New Diary

I watched a couple of good shows on Netflix last night. First was a documentary produced by the Smithsonian Channel about the final days of World War II. It told stories about actual survivors of the conflict. One was a German woman who lived in Berlin. She was a young girl at the time. She talked about how she got through the fighting and how badly the Soviet soldiers treated the female population. It was interesting but somehow I couldn't feel too much sympathy for the Germans since they started the war and extermination millions of Russian civilians when they invaded the Soviet Union. Then I watched a couple episodes of Murdoch Mysteries. Despite having a good evening I didn't sleep very well last night.

Girlfriend had a doctor's appointment early this morning., She had to see her heart doctor who has an office out past the PA line. The Social service van provided our transportation. She had a good report except that she has some weakness in her arm Dr. John wants her to make an appointment with her primary care doctor.

We got back home and plan on going out. We are going to celebrate Valentines early. We are going out to t his Chinese restaurant this afternoon and I'm going to buy girlfriend a box of candy.

Life is good.
