What is your personality type? (ENTJ, INTJ, etc.). Do you believe it fits you?
I have taken MANY of these throughout the years, from high school through various jobs as an “icebreaker”. For me, there are so many different moods and thought-processes that these never seem to pan out. I guess I could say the result I got today was one I have gotten a couple times before.
I got THE COMMANDER today.
“Commanders are natural-born leaders. People with this personality type embody the gifts of charisma and confidence, and project authority in a way that draws crowds together behind a common goal. However, Commanders are also characterized by an often RUTHLESS level of rationality, using their drive, determination and sharp minds to achieve whatever end they’ve set for themselves. Perhaps it is best that they make up only THREE percent of the population, lest they overwhelm the more timid and sensitive personality types that make up much of the rest of the world – but we have Commanders to thank for many of the businesses and institutions we take for granted every day.”
I figured that wrapped up the entire song and dance. I HAVE been told those things before. Hell, I have pissed off many “sensitive and timid” people on here. While people can get mouthy as fuck behind a monitor, I know these people are the same people who would look at the sidewalk, mumble some garbage, and walk away briskly. THEN, when they get home, they’ll trash-talk all day.
I will say, there are certain traits that I definitely fall under and to fall in the other is about an insult.
I have NEVER followed the trend of being an “introvert”. I know some people who TRULY are, but being an “introvert” is NOT what people think it is today. It’s like “anxiety” is a trend now. So, I fully expect “EXTROVERT” to show up on ANY test. I have NO QUALMS with telling someone they’re wrong and to shut the fuck up if I need to. I don’t do it for shits and giggles, but sometimes, you just have to put a fucktard in their place so they don’t drag the rest of the team down.
(Note: I just clicked over to the screen to read what it had to say…and I just paraphrased the next section down. LMAO!!)
There are times when I do MILDLY care what other people think…but I think it’s purely selfish. If I have unhappy people, I know that 9 times out of 10, it’s because their feelings are hurt. But that ONE person…I have to make sure I’m an effective leader because if one person makes it a point to try to challenge me, then I end up wasting time having to break it down for them to understand.
I am trying to learn patience and tact…but I think that cruise has LOOOOOOOOOONG sailed.
In the end, if I COULD do it all by myself? I WOULD. Unfortunately, there are people who are better than me in certain areas. NOT MANY, but a couple blind spots.
So, I think this is the closest “label” that could be used, mainly for workplace purposes. No one falls into just ONE “type”.
In fact, as I peruse the summary of each of these 16 personalities, I find that, just off a quick glance, I could fall into 12 other personalities. The only thing that would be different would be the “-vert” label.
