How did it go? in Second 1st

Yesterday morning I browsed over LetGo and OfferUp to see if I could find a deal on an Iphone 7… 7s… 8 … 8+ as well as shopped around online. I’ll be meeting up with a guy on Monday (he’s away for holiday and won’t be back till then) to look/purchase and Iphone 7 for 160 (128gb). Sammy is Apple people so he’s going to give me a quick walk through of where to find things. I’ve had an apple phone before but it’s been really long ago. I’m excited.

I started the baked beans at 5 am then went back to bed for 2 hours. Did the research and put the turkey in at 8:45. Sammy wanted to run to the store to get a pie for a work dinner that night. I needed eggs and something else.... so we went. It wasn’t horribly bad thank God. I had a lot more relax time yesterday. Everyone was late by about 30 mins so all the food was laid out (and getting cold) by the time they started eating. They all had different reasons and all showed up at the same time. Scott said the Mac n Cheese low so was bland and the baked beans should have cooked a lot longer. So I guess next time I’ll do over night. They all agreed with the beans and said it one of those things the longer the better and in a crock pot they cant really get “over done”.

The all were gone by 4 so I did a load of dishes. I expect that there will still be a huge pile on Monday. Rocky said he would do some this morning and some more this afternoon. This morning he did not. So we will see how that goes.

Today, I work. It was a scheduled holiday but apparently enough people volunteered that they said “nope, ya’ll just work your normal shift, no holiday for you” However, it’s still a holiday so. .... I’m getting 2x regular pay today and 12 hrs holiday pay bringing it to 3x hourly pay today! They decided we could come in late too… shift starts at 8:30. 2 hours later than usual. I slept in an hour longer. I was also asleep by 7:30 so.... I got like 9 1/2 hours sleep! I should be fine.

i’m a little off this morning but not too bad. i thought i’d be worse because of how hard I’ve been pushing all week. I can imagine by Sunday I’ll be debating going to work. I hope all goes well though. If I make it all weekend that’s like 5 days of pay in 3. i have to go in Saturday in order to qualify for holiday pay. So I’m going to crawl if I have to. They will just have to figure out how I’m useful. I’m hopeful though.

Mom spent some time and taught me to play Pokemon (cards) so that I could play with my nephew. Who seemed way more interested in playing video games like he does whenever he comes over.

Of course that was a ton of left overs. Mom took most of the turkey and left over ham (she had sent up both so i’m not offended) She also took the pan sauce. No one managed to make it to desert so I put the mock apple pie in the freezer to pull for Christmas as well as one full loaf of Zucchini bread.

Looking forward to Monday, getting a new phone and relaxing a good bit.
