I think I might have written about this before. My neighbor’s also have an English Bull Dog named Bigley. Bigley just turned a year two weeks ago. Our neighborhood is big so they live a mile away. They drive Bigley up here and walk him with Ollie twice a day, 7:15AM and 5:15PM. Bigley is a wiggle butt and they like him to walk with Ollie because Ollie is so calm and laid back and a dream on the leash. Aftereach walk the boys get play time at my house. They’re pretty tuckered out so its nice play.
I knew that Ollie must have lost weight because his waist has gotten very defined. We just drove him up to the vet’s office to weigh him on the platform scale since he’s too big for anyone here to pick up and weigh. The last time at the vet’s, seven weeks ago, Ollie weighed 55lbs. This morning, taaadaaa, he weighed 46.4lbs!!! The scale is out in the open by the clinic entrance door. The vet techs and the waiting patients and parents cheered for Ollie. It was like a canine Weight Watchers rally or something. It’s just great. One of the vets came out to see what the commotion was. She congratulated us on having a healthy weight bull dog. Most English Bull Dogs are overweight. I get no credit for the weight loss, everything here at the house has stayed the same. It’s all the exercise. It’s all thanks to Mike and Nancy. They’re the greatest
