Happy Writey All The Time Month in Ponderings of the Universe

And it’s November! Time to try to write every day. Wheee.

I had today off and feel like I did so many small but adulty things that added up into an entirely all too adulty day.

I got my flu shot, looked up hours and locations for or early voting this weekend (I just realized I have a concert on Tuesday in addition to working all day, which leaves me very little time to vote. Voting’s the most important priority so let’s just do it early!), paid some bills, admired some expensive boots online (that’s not super adulty lol), bought a new scrub top and lab coat, made 2 breakfast bakes to get us through the next few weeks, did a couple short workouts, avoided eating tons of candy, did online grocery shopping, did work lab coat/scrubs laundry…I feel like there was more. Mostly I failed at relaxing on my day off.

Johnny got his 2nd and 3rd/final back-to -ack heartworm treatment injections on Monday and Tuesday. Just gotta keep him quietish for about a month and he should be all done with this. He’s such a wiggly boy but he does love to cuddle, which makes keeping him quiet while giving him attention a little easier. Lots of cozy critter cuddling :)

I was a curmudgeon for Halloween, meaning I hid inside and ate candy. It was great. I always mean to dress up or do something festive but I tend to be burnt out this time of year. Or maybe just all the time lol.

I’m sleepy. It might be time for bed now.
