Happy birthday, van fire, bent rim and fuel pump repairs on truck! in Misadventures of West Virginia Woman

There was a coupon for a free underwear from Victoria Secret with a purchase i decided i wanted to get one. On the way there my vehicle started sputtering and shut off in traffic. My dad took it to his mechanic friends in order to let him fix it. The fuel pump needs replaced on the truck! Most of the time dad fixes it himself but decided with repairs needed done to his van he had to much going on.

We dropped off the truck i went to dads house to discover tons of bad news about his van. Where part of the road washed out i accidentally landed wrong resulting in me bending the rim. The brush guard broke off from the experience dragging 3 days later when dad was driving it. . When we went to take the brush guard off dad popped the hood to discover the wiring harness was previously on fire. I am not sure when. He of course decided i was to blame for that too and cussed me out! It was a small fire that put itself out. If he replaced the wire harness i believe he should be able to drive it without have to replace entire motor. It could have been a lot worse.

He blamed it on the rough coal mining roads accused me of intentionally destroying his van to spite him... Oh lord! The rim and brush guard was tore up on accident as for the wiring i had no idea that happened. I am just glad the entire car didnt go up in flames! Dad is trying to decide whether to scrap the van or just fix the wiring harness. I bet he patches it together and keep driving. Dad is very mr fix it like that.

Dad told me buy i new vehicle quit wasting time with my 1995 truck. I told him when you cant afford a car payment you patch the one you got and be grateful for the time left it still drives. It is 23 years old! The motor has been replaced. It needs stuff here and there fixed but due to its age it is pretty dependable ride! I dont mind putting a fuel pump in if it last me for years!

If i could afford a new car i would! I just cant! I cant afford a new motor for my 1991 bravada it is sitting in driveway waiting on me to collect enough money to do repairs! With Talan’s mom help i couldnt afford fuel pump for the truck that 1995 Sonoma.

I got lucky the truck broke down after i had several days off in a row. I hope the mechanic can fix it before sunday so i can drive it to work. Much like God mechanics work at their own speed in mysterious ways! I fear what the bill will be. I fear if the vehicle isnt fixed i might lose my job due to transportation issues!

Today is Talan’s birthday! I walked to Dollar General bought pizza, some ice cream sandwiches however couldnt walk far enough to buy his cake yesterday! When he get home from work this morning from night shift i got to tell him bad news about transportation issues! :( i hope i wont ruin his birthday!

I am sitting on our destroyed couch with Harley Quinn and Coal laying on me asleep. I need to replace this damn raggedy couch! Ziggy is laying on the table beside me sleeping. Much like my kitties i need to rest too! Happy birthday Talan i am sorry!
