Tikity Boo in Book Five: Working Through the Maze 2018

HA to me, though. I am busy and I’m looking at a fucking MOUNTAIN of shit coming at me… but today was a somewhat slow day.

Wife said inspections went really well. Small stuff all around and some teeny maintenance like the AC filter had never been replaced. OH… she also discovered that the main toilet and the entire AC system were broken. Obviously, I was very clear that… yeah, we haven’t closed yet so Seller has possession. As Seller with Possession, YOU fix that shit at YOUR cost before we move in.

Got another request to file a petition indicating a Child Needed Assistance. So… imagine this if you will. Lets say this is your next door neighbors. Your neighbors, who are in their mid 60s, take in their granddaughter. You discover that they are taking care of her because her father was convicted of molesting her for most of her life. He didn’t go to jail for it but instead fled the state. She’s 17 and it is the summer before High School graduation. She asks if she can go visit her dad and your neighbors said yes. So… knowing that her father molested her for most of her life, YOU ALLOW HER TO GO VISIT HIM?! Guess what happened.... more molestation. More trauma to the kid. BAFFLING!

Then, with big cases looming.... today was “final shot” to get plea deals set up. MOST took plea deals (as I expected) but the one case I figured wouldn’t? Hasn’t. His attorney is not a bad guy, the client is the reason for all of this. So I don’t blame the attorney. But the attorney was like “How about we go back to the original plea that he already rejected?” And I’ll be honest. I struggled with the decision. I really did. I agonized over it for about 30 minutes. Ultimately, I had to say no. This guy terrorized someone causing over $800 worth of damages. He refuses to plead because he thinks “That’s like $200 tops!” No, you moron. The actual estimate of damages is closer to $1000. He’s already admitted to doing this. JUST TAKE THE FUCKING DEAL AS OFFERED YOU ASSHAT FUCKFACE! Just… frustrating. The idea of going to a JURY TRIAL to argue restitution.... instead of holding a Contested Restitution hearing. Just.... driving me a little mad.

But… I’ll shake it off, for tonight at least, and try to just enjoy video games and porn. My night sounds like a lonely College Kid’s night. Though in truth, it makes me miss Raven that much more. I know it is questionable at best, downright adultery at worst.... but I do so enjoy having a sexting buddy :(
