This has been a fun summer and I am ready to slow down and be lazy! Yesterday I just returned from Texas, went down to surprise my best friend daughter Bay for her Sweet 16 birthday party on Friday night. I flew down on Standby on Thursday and got down with no problems. Flew from Casper, Wyoming to Denver, Colorado then to Lubbock, Texas I have mentioned her before, her daughter is also my adopted daughter as Bay calls me Mom, SO I am mom #2. She was in shock that I actually came down and she was so happy. We had a fast fun weekend and I bought her a very special promise ring to BE PURE til she gets married. SHE made that promise to me and her mom! I also got a contract with her that she will not drink and text while driving as she will take her driving test once she can succeed in parallel parking, that is a little hard to do. We gave her a birthday party on Friday night and it kind of was a bust! Her mom made a error by telling all her friends that the party was Saturday night so NO ONE showed up, so Bay was very upset and she cried, SO we had to make some calls and only ones that showed up were her MOM’s friends and her little sister friends. SO once we woke up on Saturday I took her shopping for that promise ring and we went to a special memorial for that another friend did for their Hospice, as they do every year, SO I took Bay with me so we could HONOR her grandpa Curly, We cried together. It was a very touching moment for the both of us as we have lost special people in our lives.
Another friend of mine came down from Hereford, Texas and we all (kids and I) went to see the Movie Meg. OMGOSH what a good movie. Every time a big shark would come thru the screen (lol) we all jumped out of our chairs. I was biting my nails too. lol It was a very good movie. I do recommend it to see it!
One negative issue that happened this weekend, As I arrived in Texas not a few hours I got a call that my mom had a mild heart attack, they had to use a heart defibrillator on her and she stayed in the hospital all weekend and today she s going home today. She didn’t want me to go change my plans and I will visit her in a couple of weeks. SHE is doing ok for now. Her blood pressure was high and she will just take an easy for now. I was able to talk to her every day and she sounded good with some good high spirits. SO I could ask for some prayers for her!!
Thank you!

Well its reality time, I have to go deliver flowers for a couple of hours and I have a busy week. SO I will read and note and I hope to make a regular entry more often. I enjoy reading every one of you!!
Take Care!!
HAPPY MONDAY!!
