Some people... in A new start

I try to be low drama. I think I have always been pretty low drama however I know not everyone chooses to be that way. I have noticed a friend I graduated with doesn’t seem to care about drama. Aka she likes to air all her drama on Facebook. The evil f.

This friend of mine has three kids and is friend with their dad off an on. There has been a time where that wasn’t the case. Well, at least once a year they get into it. Which whatever. That isn’t what drives me nuts. She was with a loser of a guy who wouldn’t work and relied heavily on pot to function. I was dumb enough to let them watch my kids. You get what you pay for. She eventually left him after they camped for almost a year, I guess the kids still went to school though except for when she decided she wanted to go visiting. So after that guy was one with multiple personalities. He was off. She started fighting with her neighbors about who knows what. All aired on Facebook. She was engaged to that guy. Had been for almost a year. Then they break up. A month maybe two later and she is engaged again to some other guy. She hasn’t been with him more than a month, maybe two. Her poor kids have endured so much. Now her other half’s ex is fighting with her, on Facebook of course. Saying the guy is a liar and plans on leaving her, which honestly I could see happening. Her apartment is like a hotel for losers. But anyway. The drama is not limited to that with men and neighbors but it will extend to her sister from time to time. How can people live that way? She says she doesn’t like drama but there she is right in it. It irritates me so much.

Now I don’t know what all went on with the ex that helped babysit my kids. I wanted to ask my oldest if he ever did anything to her but never did. I still need to talk to her and know if she remembers anything. This guy refused to change the youngest one’s diaper due some accusations before so I don’t know. I do know I need to talk to her. She is 10 now, she was five when they watched her, maybe even four. If anything happened it will start coming to the surface in some way here soon.

Anyway. Venting about drama. On to better(?) things?

My girls are enjoying school very much. Granted they have only gone three days now. Both teachers like them. They are making friends nicely, or rebuilding friendships. The oldest has a friend right across the street so that is nice. The youngest one, well she’s a difficult one. The first day of school she met someone new from the neighborhood. She went home to the friend’s house after school and not letting anyone know, then came home with said friend in tow. Now the rule is no one comes over especially not in the house. I have dogs that don’t like people. She brought her friend in the house. So the dogs jumped on and barked at her. Maybe even nipped. So my youngest one got grounded the first day of school. Great way to start the year.

It is that time of year when I get the bug to move out of here. This is the closest we have been to be able to do it yet. We need to talk to a lender and see when we would be able to get a loan. My bankruptcy was over two years ago and his is just over one. So not quite yet but soon. I keep looking. I have found some that I would like. Who knows if they will be available once we can. Hopefully. I want room. I want one plus acre, the house doesn’t matter much as long as it can be financed. If I had this house paid off we could move it, but it’s not. Wont be for a while. It was a 12 year loan and I’ve been her nearly 3. So yeah. I’m sure I could pay it off with tax returns pretty quick but that is earmarked for other things. I mean paying off our cars would be better than paying off this house. So we will see.

The husband and I are doing ok. I suppose. Could be worse. Could be better.

I thinks that all I have for now.
