Lovely morning at Bon Beach in Soul Journey

Emmy stayed last night and we watched Knowing. It was a very interesting take of Doomsday.

We got up this morning at 6 and by 7 we were walking Buddy the Beagle on the beach. The sun had just risen and it was quite ethereal.

Bud has never actually swum before and with some coaxing from Emma he found that he enjoyed the experience so much he kept wanting to go back in and out deeper each time. He stank coming home in the car. Still after a good hose down he is smelling a lot better.

Amanda and Katie will be here soon and then we will hit the Op shops, looking for furniture. She wants a new dining suite one that she can paint and render shabby chic. Tonight it is the Lyre bird awards for local theatre and I am thrilled to have received a nomination for best supporting actress in Steel Magnolias. I have got the dreamiest deep Jade green frock to wear. I managed to find a fabulous pair of earrings in the exact shade.

Dotti is coming with Owen and I so it should be a great night.
