Airport Road MP 21.4 southbound mainline in Tales of the Jointed Track

Airport Road ? At 19 seconds into the video where I say, “Looking due south”. The Crossing gate, and the lot with cars and Truck trailers. That was the little “private” airport”. It was hardly an airport. Small aircraft, a dirt runway, a windsock. At the 35 mph curves, and a plane coming in, looked like they were going to hit us. Davey Coach Company, occupies the “Main part”, of the old airport. Davey fits bus bodies on truck chassis, for commercial and private use.
