The block signal is about one mile south of Tomah Road crossing and the south switch at Tomah itself. In the late 70’s the Santa Fe decided to lengthen the distance between signals. There was a block signal at the South end of Tomah siding and also a pot signal, or depending the railroad, it may have been called a dwarf signal. Also the video before, where you look south the RV park crossing, just above the curve was the block signal, where John Kostur flagged in, only to find a caboose on fire just past the curve into Larkspur. I said that the next stop, will be Tomah. There is no downtown, or did I stop. The reason is that they are doing road construction. Where I could pull off, and video the location was blocked with men and machines and their personal vehicles. Also yes, we caught I-25 past Fountain. We also caught the railroad near Fillmore St to just past Bijou St in the Springs maybe two and a half miles. I will come back again and fill in, as well as Larkspur (both directions at a later date).
