Shitty.. in A Day in the Life of Me

It’s how I feel right now…
I know our friends must blame us for how the cat has been doing because I realized today they have taken us both off FB… I didn’t say anything about it to her in a msg we just had back and forth because I did manage to get an update, because she msg’d us yesterday asking if there had been any falls/fights due to the leg… cause apparently she was getting worse, she was having a mix of diarrhea and constipation, she was also shivering constantly, and was being kept wrapped up in blankets and wanted to know before they headed back to the vet.
We told them there was ZERO fights, there was no falls unless it was at night while we were in bed, my boy was not even up with her as she was still hissing and such at him and he was keeping his distance, and was in the bedroom with us in his basket.
Apparently according to the update I DID get, she had a reaction to the meds he vet had given her last week for her leg.. but I still feel AWFUL because I KNOW they think something happened and we’re not telling them, but nothing did! The entire time she was here, one if us was home the entire time, and we were so gentle with her… Just seems like we can’t prove it to them…
All we wanted to do was help… and now I fear we’ve lost friends because we tried, and it didn’t work out, and all this has come about simply because she had an accident on my couch…
I don’t know what else to say/do.
