to be clear. not valerie’s. mental health [although given what she’s been through w/ her mom.......i don’t see how it’s possible that that didn’t have any residual effects. or that she doesn’t have ptsd. or anything like i don’t believe that. they um. they don’t talk. anyway.]. no valerie. and mental health.
so the other day we were talking. and she was saying something about as how she’s gotten older when it’s cloudy she doesn’t have the motivation to go out. or get up. and i’m like ‘no i get it. i have depression’ and she’s ‘i get it’. no. you don’t. she doesn’t have depression so she doesn’t fully get it. and that makes it hard but it’s fine but don’t say to me ‘i get it’ when someone doesn’t.......fully.........get it. i learned that from evan which is why. i’m not that person anymore. who says ‘i get it’ when i don’t........fully........yeah. i’ll say something like ‘i get it somewhat’. like someone could say to me/i could read ‘i have cancer’ and i.........actually i have no idea what that’s like but it sounds hard.
i was diagnosed w/ SAD when i was 15. pretty sure i’ve had depression since i was 13. and i’m. a lot older then that now. so.......... no. you don’t.
[valerie’s my mentor btw. for those who are new.].
