The Plan Is To... in meh...

I’ve been contemplating my next steps toward my neighbor.

I think I’m going to have to go the library or the library where I went to college to look up Missouri statutes and laws if there are any to be found about how to deal with him. I’ve talked to my landlady about the recent round and two days later booming again. The day after, the kids were over and earlier in the evening they were noisy. However when he started with the music, the kids were separated, one with my son the other with me and I was trying to keep him calm and playing with him, they weren’t noisy. He had a whole two hours for his usual lie of “I was drowning out kid noise” Then after the kids left, close to but after 10:30, the music was traded for television sounds.

Everything I’ve read up to now has said document, which I do. I’ve talked to my landlady and I apologized that I have to keep coming to her. I don’t talk to him because there is no telling how that will escalate. My next course of action is to actually flag down a police car and ask an officer (hopefully I don’t get shot or arrested because I have an old traffic warrant in the county, not the city) and get some advice about my next course of action or what can they do to help alleviate the situation.

I’m not moving. I was in the building first. The only problem I had with the people that were there before him was the stench that emanated from their apartment to the shared hallway to the basement. There was an occasional fight with the woman he was living with. The icing on the cake was that their apartment got shot up. Well, someone shot out the windows of her car and blew out one window of the apartment which sealed their fate.

At any rate…

He has always been the only person with complaints about every damn thing and every damn body ever since he moved in. My neighbor had to get rid of her dog, but he took in a mangy cat. He snitched on the lady in #1 about having her daughter’s dog, but the landlady said someone else complained. I’ve never gotten into it with anyone over there. He has tried to incite riots saying the people in the building (who’s backyard faces our front doors) across from ours put a noose in a tree. It was a frayed rope looking string that looked like it was blown up there at some point. Same person that confronts anyone visiting anyone else with “Who are you? Who are you here to see?” and shit like that. I was sitting in the car with RJ one day and his drunk ass boyfriend called himself confronting us. “I just looked at him and he was all, “Can I help you?” I said no. I live here too. Don’t walk up on me. But he’s gone because he was a victim of domestic violence dealing with the one I’m dealing with.

Things with him could escalate because he likes to threaten to have his family interact. My thing is, he doesn’t want that. My family is just as crazy. If his family is relegated to the few people he has that comes over when he’s doing holiday shit, my family is larger and crazy as fuck. So try me if you want to. Almost everyone has at least done time a few times.

He’s a pain in the ass.
I’ve said it.
The landlady and her husband have said it.

Yep. So while he’s posturing, I’m plotting quietly and he thinks he’s winning.
Okay, but word to the wise:

I always move in silence.

Kindest regards,
Sister
