Day fourteen. in A small but passable life.

The drive up Highway 101 from Crescent City to Newport was beautiful and just as I remember from the first time I traveled that road forty-five years ago.

After we checked into another La Quinta we found a good seafood place down on the harbor.

We made the decision to turn east. We decided on Highway 20, crossing Oregon from seashore to Boise, Idaho.

From Boise we’ll turn south and head for home.

It’ll be three weeks and close to three thousand miles when we get home.

A three thousand mile circle just to go for a “drive”.
