Guarding prom, uncomfortable gropes, job search in Misadventures of West Virginia Woman

Between school and prom I worked a 13 1/2 hour shift. Towards end of prom I was exhausted and irritated. I kept my opinions to myself because due to me being out of a job as of June 6 for the summer I better collect every penny I can! I come back to this company in the fall but summer is so long when you don’t have money!

At the prom I had to walk around and I maneuvered my way around the group. While walking several teenage boys thought it was funny to grind up on me, hump my leg and bump their butts on me. My breast got grabbed a few times.I got angry thinking come on guys I am 31 years old! I am like closer to your moms age than your age! Get off of me! They busted out laughing when I reminded the age difference that I could almost be their grandma find someone else to dance on! The girls were mostly respectful their main concern was being beautiful and no one stepping on their expensive dress.

I think the teenagers had fun. Several people left early for after parties. I was so exhausted. I pumped gas for Talan he guard prom with me he stayed by the snack tables so he would have to walk across the dance floor. His legs and feet were so swelled he could barely walk. I felt bad for him.

This weekend I think I am going to put out job applications. I hope someone takes interests in giving me a summer job. I need to keep working to pay the bills. Adulthood sucks I got to keep working hard to survive.
