The short of it... in After OD

There’s so much I could write about. But when I start to think of it all, it becomes overwhelming and I can’t do it. So here’s the short of it.
About 18 months ago Rob lost his job.
During his stint of unemployment, my dad bought us a house.
Rob got a new job.
We moved a month after the new job started.
The new job was horrible. The company sucked, the manager was a psychotic, insecure, bitch. Rob became depressed, and our relationship strained.
We put the old house up for sale.
The tension in the household built and my relationship with Sage became rough. Mother-daughter relationships are often tough when the daughter is a teenager, but the stress of things did not help.
Rob applied for dozens of jobs. Very few leads.
My depression worsened.
Finally, a ray of hope. Rob was hired on at a new job at the end of the year. He started on January 2nd. It’s a better environment, much better health insurance, room for growth. He’s finally happy.
I started therapy. That is a whole entry in itself.
Relationship with Sage has improved because of the therapy. Thank God.
Old house sold. Again, Thank God! We were able to pay off a little debt with the small amount we ended up with from the sale. Still a ways to go though.
As things stand right now, life is good.
