New Job Jitters in Hello

Last night I got super bummed. It’s hard to explain but I really didn’t want to return to work.

Today, however, my fears were laid to rest. Had some fun. Joe, the guy who was showing me the ropes, went to the same college and same machining program. Spent the afternoon shitting on the teacher. He let me get hands on with the Swiss machine by myself and it dosen’t seem as hard as I thought it would be. The day shift super says me and the other new guy who started today too are going to be on our own machine, basically running production and getting the feel for the machines. I’m excited.
