Buying propety cheap skate way in Misadventures of West Virginia Woman

At the Home and Leisure Show i was talking to my ex landlord Mary because we are still friends. She found out i am interested in buying property to move my mobile home on and i admitted i wanted to build a tiny house with my own hands. Her being a realtor wanted me to purchase a house from her with a 30 year mortgage. She kept going on and on how that was a good idea. All i kept thinking is why would i live beyond my means?

My mom help us buy this mobile home . It needs repairs but since it was made in 1987 i expect it to need repairs. I am taking my tax money to pay my mom on what i owe her. Everyone else is going on shopping sprees going on vacations obviously i am not everyone else! I told mom after mobile home is paid i have intentions on buying property. My mom says if i need help give her a call! My mom is helpful and caring. She often complains what i need to do..what mom doesnt?

Due to teacher strike, snow days i haven’t been making much. I have been barely getting by. Talan and i have been collecting all our change in a jar we can decided that little jar of change is the beginning to our piece of property. Pitiful i know but we got to start somewhere. I dont believe in getting in a lot of debt. It might take years but i have every intention of buying property with cash!

Talan wants 20 acres of property he wants woods for him to hunt on. Due to him hardly working i do not view his dreams realistic what so ever!

I want 1 or 2 acres of basic property that hopefully have water, sewer system, and power. I want to be able to put my trailer there so i can start a small garden. I want a small place to put a cellar because i want to learn how to can my vegetables. I dont want a show. I am not there to impress the neighbors! I would love to figure out how to use solar panels. I am very interested in the more simple traditional ways. I want to build a flower garden around my house.

I want to either build a tiny house or slowly build my own house slowly over time when i have the money. I want to teach myself these skills as i go. Do research see if i can handle it. If it is a job i fear i can botch up like with wiring i want to hire a professional!

As you can tell this project will take years. I embrace this challenge with fear. I feel with a lot of hard work i can do this!

I been trying to find a better paying job. Applications out no call backs so far. I am not giving up! I been debating on doing side jobs like puctures for weddings, selling things at flea markets any odd jobs i can find around my current job. I am driven and stubborn.

Mary can keep her 30 year mortgage! With time my little jar of change with hard work and dedication will eventually with time be my forever home!
