Okay. Got it done. After coffee this morning I headed over to the insurance office. The new homeowner’s policy was ready for me to sign.
Final numbers: car insurance was $1270 annually, now $452; homeowner’s was $503, now $410. I think that’s a good savings.
I also set it up to where both arrive in the same bill, $862 annually.
I’m pleased with the results. Mission accomplished.
I still need an Arizona medical cannabis card. And a passport may be handy, you know, just in case an evacuation is called for. But in reality, I think I could walk into Mexico without papers.
So yeah, I felt so good that by noon I was lying beside the pool once again. I did sweep and Swiffer the whole house for Mom before I went.
I’m pretty sure tomorrow will be coffee with reading, and then lying by the pool and listening to NPR. Back to a normal routine.
Two more months and the park should be deserted once again, with all the snowbirds flying away. I’m really looking forward to the quiet. And an uncrowded pool.
