Do I even work? in Watching Life Fly By

Chloe went through the flu like a champ. She was 90% better Sunday, but had a wet cough. I decided to keep her home Monday because her cough was still persistent, and I didn’t want her coughing on her friends at the babysitter’s house.
On Monday I spent the morning kicking myself- she coughed at 6:15am then not again till about 11am…and then reality hit. She fell asleep randomly for 10 minutes, got up and went pee for her FIRST time that day despite drinking over 24oz of fluid (mostly water and a few ounces of milk). She ate a full breakfast and a full lunch, took a 3.5 hr nap (usually 2-2.5hrs) and woke up miserable. She asked for bath/shower so we did that and that’s when it was obvious she was not okay. Even though she didn’t have a fever, she could barely stand in the shower to get her hair washed. She was coughing insane amounts and just very lethargic. I had already called her doctor and left 2 messages, so I took her to urgent care. She slept the ride there, slept in the waiting room and slept waiting for the doctor. She was diagnosed with a sinus infection and possibly a virus. She was given antibiotics and had a fever of 100.1 We went home and she took tylenol and seemed perfect. She ate a good dinner and played a little before bed. At bedtime I gave her Motrin. She slept from 8:45-11:30 and then the coughing fits hit. She slept 8:45-11:30, 1:30-2:15, 5:00-6:45. The rest of her time was spent coughing. I’m trying vapor rub on feet and chest, humidifer, pillow elevated, homeopathic cough medicine, and giving her water during the night. She gets ZERO relief. She’s miserable. Her cough has gone from wet to mostly dry. She lets me suction her nose, blow her nose etc. She is so sad she is sick and cannot play without losing her energy. She’s pathetic and I HATE it for her.
I did not work Thursday, Friday, Monday or today. I am praying she can return to her sitter tomorrow, but I’m doubting it. I might have to beg my MIL to take off a day and watch her so I can work. My husband cannot take off to watch her. He does not get sick days. Additionally, he will do what I tell him, but can’t really problem solve sickness on his own. He’s a huge baby when it comes to being sick, and doesn’t understand her needs in that way.
