I hate the “feets be walking” but she’s only just now 14 and was slung into fame at 12. I do wonder if she’s even being educated at all NOW.... shrugs Her unique voice and indie sound are currently soothing my soul.

I’ve got 2 people here I have read for a long time. They also read me and I have not lost them, thankfully. I’m am binge reading now and chose to read one at a time rather than by date. So, now I feel the need to react to some of the things I have read. I chose to read her first because traditionally her entries have been short and mostly about work. I am not disappointed but her journal has taken a turn and therefore took me longer than expected to get through.

Among topics covered over the last few months are trans/non binary Identification, guns and gun violence, bunch of stuff on football and finally snowflakes. I want to comment on all these things but my views are similar on most of them. Snowflakes are stupid. trans / non binary identification and the conviction of those who do not understand as being against it in some malicious way is amazingly confounding. I’m not a football fan so I kinda skipped over entries that were obviously about the sport. GO SPORTSBALL! I’m not even close to political so I can’t comment on may things… I know how things effect my life and I honestly don’t worry about things that don’t.... What about the future?.... well we will get there when it comes.

Guns? well that effects me a tad. Rocky is of the opinion that at some point the government will try to take them from him. He is actually very happy that he recently (in the last 2 weeks) managed to get his lifetime carry permit. I don’t care either way. He is no risk to anyone but a would be thief/rapist. he is a danger to anyone who is a danger themselves and no one else. Who is he that he could judge that? A human with a brain. Do I have one? NO. I scare easily. I could see pulling a gun on someone who did not deserve it. There have been times I have felt safer knowing Rocky had one. Knowing he could use it in defense of our safety without being convicted of murder (because Castle Law).

Rocky is considering a job change. He’s been working with a guy who will be leaving for the police force in a few months, hearing all the good things of a hopeful youth. After real talk about how his back would effect performance and how my imagination would have me miserable every day he has settled on a dispatcher position. He’s thinking 911 operator! I don’t see a darn thing wrong with that! So we went to the police station to find out what he needs to do next. His friend at work said he has to take a citizens class and that the next one was Feb. 11th. We drove out there yesterday and no one was there.

Rocky said he wanted to get up at like 8-9 this morning to accomplish some things today then stayed up till at least 1. I’m going to wake him in about 45 mins (it’s 8:14)

I think that’s all I’ve got for now.
Destiny told her guy “we need to talk tonight”.... I hate that that is a thing. Rocky and I talk all the time “we need to talk” is not a thing. If something bothers me I just tell him.
