Another reason to want to be at a more reasonable place?

Ouch.

So… Private Attorneys that I know often scoff and laugh at my firm because Chinese Boss says she will help any Chinese citizen that is in Iowa. Which means that our client base covers 56,273 square miles. Meanwhile, most attorneys have a 50 mile radius. They will accept cases within 50 miles unless uniquely compensated for the extra effort. Thus… if I worked in Independence, Iowa (66 miles from Iowa City) I would never take a case in Iowa City. (That is a true story, I asked a private law firm in Indy if they would take an IA City case). HOWEVER, I work for this firm. Which means even though we’re 130 miles from Iowa City, we still take those cases. And recovering from that drive? That drive is a rough “day trip” on most people… add my Fibro, and I am still slowly, painfully recovering.

Prosecutors? Don’t have to travel out of the county to do their job. And that… sounds very nice right about now.

Nope. I thought at some point my energy would return.... hearings and more being yelled at by Chinese Boss and … yeah, definitely didn’t get any energy.
