Caught the flu, strange symptoms in Misadventures of West Virginia Woman

I have really bad muscle pains i assumed it is pms. It got to the point i couldnt handle it anymore. Come to find out i have early stages of the flu. Besides the muscle aches i dont have a fever, my nose is stuffy but not running. I have an appetite. Besides feeling tired i would assumed it is a sinus infection not the flu.

Doctor says where i got the flu shot in August that the symptoms were decreased. Getting sick messes up my plan to work extra to help pay bills. I really needed this paycheck too.

Talan thinks i might have caught it from him. He like me assumed it is a sinus infection.

I was given tamiflu to deal with the symptoms. I was also given medicine to deal with the muscle aches. Apparently when you got pms and flu pain medicines dont work well.

One thing i dont like about working in a school disease spreads like wild fire. I have been sick a lot since starting this job.

I dont understand how i can have the flu but no fever. Almost everyone in emergency room with me had the flu. The doctors and nursing staff looked overwhelmed and exhausted i felt sorry for them.

I am tired so i am going back to bed. I cant wait to get back to work.
