We have budgies! :) in 2018

Finally over all of our sicknesses I think. Hope I didn’t just jinx us.

Chris is away at school for the week. Hes about 10-12 hours away in Mississauga, Ontario. For a small town boy, that was a massive trip lol. Being down there for the first time, not having a CLUE where to go or how to get there. Hes been there a few days now and feels confident getting to the school and back to the hotel now. Probably not looking forward to getting back on the freeways to head home though.

I assume he’ll be going there a lot. He asked me to go along with him but the kids also have school, and I have to work. It just isn’t feasible for us all to go. I mean maybe one of the times we can make a little getaway out of it but not this time. There is a LOT to do right around his hotel and the school hes going to.

Anyway, I dont want to come off as a bitch here, but man its kind of nice. LOL Bed to myself, less cleaning, less laundry, less drama lol But Im the type of person who loves the shit out of alone time. Always have. I need it to recharge. I cant handle being around people too long, its like it drains me. The more people that come around here, the less battery I end up with at the end of the day. I have many friends who GET their energy from being around other people. Hell no. Leave me in my house alone for days. Im not depressed, Im actually probably happier than ever hahah :)

Not sure if I mentioned it here but we got the girls two parakeets for Christmas. I love having them in the house. They are so cute and they like to chirp happily and it just makes me feel happy that theyre in the house. I had birds when I was a little kid but I dont remember. Hoping to train them, if anyone else has budgies let me know!
