weekend in A Day in the Life of Me

Sent out 4 postcards on Saturday.... $10 in postage… ugh lol
Sunday a friend delivered shelves from mom. An old metal set she had in a closet that she used for craft storage, so i spent the afternoon putting those together. There quite tall as they almost reach the ceiling, and the shelves are adjustable. I took a quick break to run to the shops for D who msg’d me from work wanting me to go to Games workshop for him, so did that and hit a few other shops too.
Came home, finished the shelves by putting the brace pieces on while i was talking to mom, and started getting his stuff onto them from a way smaller set that I then put in the kitchen.

Prepped supper after, and had everything cooking with half an hr to go when D got home, so he had time to shower and wind down a bit before supper.
Spent the evening then working on a recipe binder that I have been putting off for the past 4 month at least. Didn’t get a whole lot on it done honestly, but I transferred old recipes I’ve been using from my jr.high/high school home ec days, and re-wrote some others that I had jotted down from mom when I was doing cookies and loaves for the fleamarket a few years back.

It’s ll am currently, and someone is moving in my old apartment :( it’d bitter sweet as I have more space now, but that unit was HOME for 10 YEARS!

I work in 2 hrs.. gotta get into retail mode.... lol
